Show Overview
On April
20-24, 2005, the Orchid Society of Minnesota will host the American Orchid
Society (AOS) Members Meeting and Show at the Bloomington Sheraton Hotel in Minneapolis South. The show theme will be Minnesota Orchid Fever. The meeting and show will be held in conjunction with meetings of Mid America Orchid Congress, Orchid Digest, the International Phalaenopsis Alliance, the Slipper Orchid Alliance and the Pleurothallid Alliance. The AOS members meeting, show and sales will be an excellent opportunity for the general public to see beautiful orchids in the show, to purchase orchid plants in the sale, and to learn about care and cultivation from speakers. The public is encouraged to participate in meeting, show and sale and to learn about care of orchid plants.

Meeting and Show Registration
Full registration is $75 per person before March 23, 2005 and is $95 per person for registration postmarked after March 23. Full registration includes all days, unlimited access to the Show and Sales area, all speakers and meetings, the Preview Party, Program Booklet and an outstanding Welcome Bag.
One-day registration is $30 per person and includes unlimited access to the Show and Sales area for that day, speakers for the day and the Program Booklet.
Show Entrance Fees
Cost for the show and sales area is $5 per person payable at the door. Children 12 years and under are admitted to the show for free. If you are interested in attending lectures on Friday or Saturday, there is one-day registration at $30 per person. If you have a group of 20 or more person, contact the event chair to ask about advance group entrance fees and group one-day registration.
Hotel Information
The Spring 2005 American Orchids Society (AOS) and Mid-America Orchid Congress (MAOC) Members Meeting and Show will be held at the beautiful Sheraton Bloomington Hotel, Minneapolis South, 7800 Normandale Boulevard in Bloomington. It is located at the intersection of Interstate 494 and Highway 100 just 10 minutes from the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. There is free shuttle to and from the Airport and Mall of America. Special discounted group rate of $99 per night for single or double occupancy at $105 is available if you book by March 30, 2005. There are a limited number of group rate rooms available so book early.
